All about Ms. Kinzinger!

Hi all! My name is Rachel Kinzinger, and this is my seventh year teaching at Marissa Jr./Sr. High. Previously, I taught Early Childhood Special Education through South Eastern Special Education, a special education co-op that serves east-central Illinois. 

I grew up just down the road in New Athens and graduated from New Athens High School. After high school, I attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, majoring in Special Education (K-12) and Early Childhood Special Education. I loved EIU! After graduating, I student taught at Freeburg Elementary & Primary Center and worked at Marissa Elementary as a Title 1 Aide. 

 

My favorite activities since becoming a Meteor are athletic events, FFA Week, and the boat regatta!
