With our initial Return to Learn Plan for the 2021-22 School Year having been shared on July 17, a public comment period offered, and in place with a "mask optional" approach in place, this message is being shared to again review The Plan, as it has been revised due to the CDC/IDPH guideline changes on July 29, and then again to reflect the Executive Mandate of the Governor of Illinois August 4, requiring that all students, staff, and visitors wear masks regardless of vaccination status, when indoors at all Pre-Kindergarten - 12th Grade schools in the State, effective immediately. Many students in this school may be eligible for Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) Supplemental
Nutrition Assistances Programs (SNAP) benefits during the 2020-2021 school year. P-EBT is a food assistance
benefit for students who get free or reduced-price meals in schools under the National School Lunch Program, but
– because of the pandemic – the school is not providing meals to the students at school. P-EBT benefits will help
Illinois families buy food during the COVID-19 pandemic.
